#SoIWroteAPoem: Transformed

Yes, I write poetry too.

Every now and then I experiment with writing poems that adhere to established poetic forms. This one is a cinquain, written in the  2, 4, 6, 8, 2 syllable pattern. Enjoy!

Transformed

Not yet,
But soon…the gloom
Disintegrates. The murk,
The mire is gone. At last I am
Transformed

Into
The true, the real
Completely fabulous
And incandescent me
I glow with polished radiance
Like dawn
